Whose day is it?

Pick who you are. Mello will show you.

Say it while it's fresh.

Less typing after the session.

Plan the day, mark arrival and dictate the write-up on the tablet, while it is still fresh.

Why Daymello

What makes Daymello different.

  • Made for alternative provision and mentoringNot a general charity database or a school system with a corner for AP: the whole platform is built around a young person's day with you.For alternative provision
  • Safeguarding in the same recordConcerns graded 1 to 4, low-level concerns, LADO and NRM referrals, CP file transfers and missing-education alerts, beside the sessions they came from.Safeguarding in Daymello
  • A view for commissioners and fundersRead-only access for a placing authority, half-term reports, and dashboards you build for each funder. For commissioners and funders
  • Open about your dataEvery company that handles your data is listed publicly, and the privacy notice says only what the platform actually does. Our sub-processors

Shaped by you

Your process, drawn as a flow chart.

Draw how your organisation works, step by step, with your own roles, so everyone can see who does what and what comes next. Then make the rest match it.

  • Your own words Rename the key terms, and the website, tablet, emails and reports all use them.
  • Your own forms Reword the write-up, add your own questions and scores, and word the incident and concern forms your way.
  • Your own emails See every email the platform sends, choose who gets it and add your own words.
  • Only what you use Switch off the parts of the service you do not need, and back on when you do.

In the session

An app made for the session, not the office.

Mentors plan, mark the arrival and write up on the Android tablet, wherever the session happens, working from the same records as the office.

  • Write it up while it is fresh Dictate the write-up on the tablet, in the young person's own words as well as yours.
  • A concern in a few taps Raise a concern from the session, and the right person is told the same day.
  • Locked and quiet The app locks with a fingerprint, face or PIN, and its safeguarding alerts never show the details.

Set up your way

No two provisions run the same way.

Your safeguarding contacts, areas and forms are right from day one, and each organisation sets up its own courses and awards.
